A new ration is being introduced for soldiers on the front lines.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has developed an updated dry ration for soldiers on the front lines. The new set's energy value has increased to 4100 calories per day. It includes ready-to-eat meals in retort packaging, flameless heaters, water purification tablets, dried fruits, chocolate, and nuts.

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine is introducing an updated dry ration for soldiers stationed on the front lines.

The new set was developed based on the results of a survey conducted in the "Army+" application, which involved over 60 thousand defenders and protectors.

The nutritional value of the new set is 4100 calories per day, which is 600 calories more than the standard diet. The updated ration will consist of two separate meals instead of one daily set.

The new survival kit has been enhanced with pre-prepared meals in retort packaging, flameless heaters, water purification tablets, dried fruits, chocolate, and nuts. Flameless heaters will allow for heating pre-prepared food without using an open flame, which is particularly important during combat operations. The new survival kit is intended for soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Special Transport Service, who are directly involved in combat operations on the front lines and in the enemy's rear. It is not intended to replace the standard kit, but rather to serve as an alternative.
