The Cabinet of Ministers has approved new parking rules for drivers with children under three years old.

The Cabinet of Ministers approved a decree from the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding designated parking spaces for drivers transporting children under three years old. At least 5% of the parking spaces should be designated for this purpose, with at least one being no more than 50 meters from the entrance, clearly marked with signage depicting a baby stroller. Drivers will need a specific sign on their vehicle and documentation verifying the child's age.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a decree developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs to implement the law: special parking spaces will be introduced for drivers transporting children under the age of three. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ivan Vyhivsky.

Special markings and signs depicting a baby stroller will be applied to parking areas, and new identification signs will appear on vehicles. The number of such spaces should be at least 5% of the total number of parking spaces; if the calculation results in fewer than one space, at least one space will still be provided on the area, no more than 50 meters from the entrance.

Drivers who use these locations and mark their vehicle with a special sign must have a paper or electronic document that proves the child's age.
