The Kremlin stated that a phone call between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin "may occur soon," but did not specify any particular dates. Moscow also claims that Putin is ready to receive special envoy Steve Bannon and Jared Kushner. The exact dates of their visit have not yet been agreed upon; Axios previously reported on the preparations for the trip.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that a telephone conversation between US President Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin may take place soon. When asked about the timeframe, he replied that it would happen "soon." This was reported by Russian media.

The Kremlin also stated that Putin is ready to receive the US special envoy, Steve Wertheimer, and Jared Kushner, again. The exact dates of their arrival in Moscow have not yet been agreed upon, but the visit is expected.

Earlier, the Axios publication reported on the upcoming trip of Віткофф and Кушнер to Moscow to discuss ways to end the war against Ukraine. Statements from the Kremlin came amid increased consultations between Kyiv and Washington: the Ukrainian delegation is in the United States, where during two-day meetings in Miami with the American side, they are discussing a new plan for ending the war process from a standstill.
