There is no need to urgently exchange old banknotes: they remain a legal means of payment and can be used for purchases and to pay for services. It is also not necessary to specifically bring these banknotes to the bank for exchange.

At the same time, banks and retail chains are gradually removing banknotes of the old series from circulation: the banknotes received from customers are not returned to the cash registers, but are replaced by banknotes of the modern generation. Old banknotes remain valid as long as they are in circulation.
