The state pension fund will automatically transfer winter subsidies: who needs to submit documents by November 30
The pension fund will automatically adjust housing subsidies for the period from October 16 to April 15, specifically for households that received subsidies at zero in the summer. Some recipients will need to submit an application and declaration – for payments throughout the heating season, this should be done by November 30. If the debt for utilities exceeds 680 UAH and is not paid for more than three months, payments may be suspended.
The State Pension Fund of Ukraine will automatically, without further requests, adjust housing subsidies for the heating season – from October 16 to April 15. The automatic adjustment will also be made for households that received subsidies at zero in the summer.
Some recipients will still need to submit an application and declaration. If this is done by November 30, the subsidy will be applied for the entire heating season; if submitted in December, payments will only begin from the month the application is submitted.
For households that use solid fuel or liquefied gas, assistance is provided once a year, so documents must be submitted separately.
A subsidy can be applied for without visiting the Pension Fund's service center – online through the PFU website or the "Diya" app. A qualified electronic signature or "Diya.Podpis" is required, and filling out the simplified form takes approximately 10 minutes.
Recipients are advised to promptly inform the Pension Fund about debts for utility services. If the debt exceeds 680 hryvnias and is not paid after more than three months, payments may be suspended. In the event of financial difficulties with the service provider, it is possible to conclude an agreement on debt restructuring, which will allow to maintain the right to assistance.
