Ukrenergo: October 8 Power outages will be in effect across Ukraine around the clock.
October 8 in several regions of Ukraine will implement measures to restrict electricity consumption throughout the day. According to a decree from «Ukrenergo», the restrictions will be in effect from 00 to 00, and from 23 to 59; the reason is the consequences of mass Russian missile and drone attacks on critical energy infrastructure. The scope of the restrictions may be adjusted depending on the state of the energy system.
On Thursday, October 8, power consumption restrictions will be in effect throughout several regions of Ukraine. This was announced by the press service of the Ukrainian energy company, "Ukrenergo."
According to the regulator's order, the restrictions will be in effect from 00:00 to 23:59. The reason cited is the consequences of the mass missile and drone attacks by Russia on critical energy infrastructure facilities.
"Ukrenergo" emphasized that the state of the energy system remains dynamic, and that the volume of restrictions may be adjusted depending on the situation. Energy experts urged citizens to use electricity sparingly.
