The National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine has added TAS-IX.MEDIA and KINOHYPE to the list of Russian online services, which will lead to their blocking on the territory of the country.
The regulator has identified a number of violations of Ukrainian legislation on these platforms, including the default use of the Russian language in the interface, the broadcasting of films and programs featuring individuals who pose a threat to national security, as well as content prohibited for display in Ukraine.
In addition, the resources provided access to foreign linear media, the dissemination of which is restricted within the territory of the state. The National Council will inform the National Commission, which is responsible for state regulation in the field of electronic communications, about the decision to further block the websites of the provider. Currently, the list of Russian services in Ukraine already includes 80 online resources.
