Under the "єПідтримка" program, the state pays 8000 UAH per month to parents of children aged one to three who are working full-time; if the child has a disability, 12 000 UAH. The benefit is also available to remote and part-time workers, but not to those who are self-employed or have part-time employment; the funds are used for the purchase of specific goods and services.

The "єЯсла" program provides monthly financial assistance to families with young children who combine childcare with work. In 2026, the payment is 8000 UAH per month, and for families raising a child with a disability, it is 12 000 UAH.

The assistance may be provided by another legal guardian of the child who was actually responsible for their care and has returned to full-time employment. Payments are made starting from the month following the child's first birthday and continuing until the child reaches the age of three. The parent of the child also has the right to receive assistance if they were the primary caregiver and have returned to full-time employment. Remote and home-based work also entitles individuals to assistance if they are employed full-time. However, employees working part-time and self-employed individuals who are not employed full-time by another employer are not eligible for this assistance.

The following documents are required: a statement, a copy of the child's birth certificate, a document identifying the applicant, and, if applicable, the taxpayer identification number. The guardian must also provide a copy of the decision establishing guardianship. Proof of full-time employment must also be provided: this could be a copy of an employment contract or a letter from the employer confirming employment, as well as a certificate from the employer with the employer's details, the employee's name, position, working hours, and the start date of full-time employment. The documents can be submitted in paper or electronic format.

Assistance can be obtained from the local branch of the Pension Fund, either in person or by mail, through a local council's citizen service center (ЦНАП), or through the "Diya" portal, where the service is currently in beta testing. It is not possible to apply for benefits through the Pension Fund's website. If documents are submitted within six months of the right to assistance arising, the funds may be paid out within a few months – after the child reaches the age of one, but not earlier than January 2026 year.

Payments are credited to a special account in an authorized bank. After the changes that came into effect on May 16 2026, funds can be received not only through "Oschadbank," but also through "Diia.Kartka." Previously opened special accounts do not need to be re-opened; if there are multiple such accounts, the funds are credited to the account opened last.

The assistance can only be used for specific goods and services in cash: children's clothing and footwear, toys, books, stationery, sports equipment, medicines and medical services, doctor's services, childcare, massage, opticians, and entertainment centers. Payment can be made at stores and establishments that have the corresponding codes for the relevant activity category. It is not possible to withdraw cash or transfer funds to another card, and receipts are not required.

The restrictions, which required the use of the funds within 90 calendar days after the child turned three, were lifted as of May 16 2026. Now, payments can be used without any time limit, including any remaining funds that were previously credited.
