During a phone call, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Tusk agreed to a personal meeting in the near future. The parties discussed the preparation of trilateral formats at a technical level between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia, as well as the readiness of the Ukrainian energy grid for winter.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on October 5th via social media that he will meet with the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, in the near future. The parties reached an agreement on a personal meeting during a phone call.

Zelenskyy thanked Poland for the assistance and support provided during a difficult time. According to him, not all issues can be discussed in detail over the phone, which is why a personal meeting was agreed upon.

During the conversation, the parties also discussed the preparation of potential trilateral meetings at a technical level between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia. The discussion also covered the preparation of the Ukrainian energy grid for winter and other sensitive issues.

The President of Ukraine emphasized that only through the combined efforts of all European countries can Russia be stopped.
