President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with military officials and government representatives. He thanked the repair teams, employees of energy companies, and regional authorities who are quickly restoring the energy system after Russian attacks. According to him, there are many damages to the power grid and electricity transmission facilities, and restoration work is ongoing around the clock.
The selector has been updated to reflect the need for new energy equipment and air defense packages. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office team are preparing the necessary communication with partners; Zelenskyy stated that he will be speaking with leaders.
A separate report on the deadlines for implementing resilience plans was also heard, specifically in Kyiv and other regions. The President called the delays completely unacceptable and stated that the responsibility of the Ministry of Infrastructure and the regional administrations is personal. Regarding Kyiv, specific tasks were defined – due to, in his words, almost complete failure by the city authorities to take necessary steps.
There was also a report on the situation in Pryluky, in the Chernihiv region. Zelenskyy instructed that by the end of the week, a complete package of decisions be prepared, which were discussed with people in Pryluky.
The Minister of Defence of Ukraine and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces reported on the situation on the front lines, primarily in the Donetsk region – in the areas of Kostyantinivka, Dobropillya, Slovianka, and Kramatorsk. According to the President, there have been results in destroying "enemy breaches" in Dobropillya; decisions have been made that are expected to be implemented in the coming weeks.
